Adding Textic Talklets to your website is very easy. We provide Talklets as true 'Software as a Service', so no integration with your website code or hardware is required beyond the addition of some brief lines of script to each page to be speech enabled.
The standard deployment of Talklets uses a simple toolbar (as on this site) at the bottom of the web page. However, the full power of Talklets' vocalisation functions, including 'point-to-read', 'save as MP3', 'read story' and others, can be accessed through any form of custom link, button or other graphic device positioned anywhere you want on the page.
When deploying Talklets using the toolbar, there is the option of having an on/off button on each page, or on a specific accessibility page, and you can elect for Talklets to be shown or hidden by default, and/or the voice being on or off by default. You can also choose your voice gender and accent from those that we have available.
